March 1, 2026: Geometry Rules Everything Around Me (G.R.E.A.M.)

In this episode, the boys awaken from a coma to reflect on an action-packed game versus Ottawa, and a not-so-action-packed matchup in Dallas.  They celebrate some excellent performances from the Millersville Messi and - could it be? - Awesome Qasem? Hopefully you're ready for your geometry lesson, because it fuels math, soccer and life.  The boys have plenty to say about the blossoming of Matthew Corcoran, and whether we might have witnessed B.J. Callaghan's first-ever mistake of his life.  Jeisson Palacios might be poised for a season to remember, and the CONCACAF is kinda stupid.  The boys also warn that we need to watch out for a rising Chicago team, and Minnesota is right around the corner.  And they drink beer.

February 22, 2026: Is This Love That We're Feeling?

In this episode, the boys can barely contain their enthusiasm for probably the best start to the season they could have hoped for.  They break down an incredible week of victories for Nashville SC against Atletico Ottawa and the New England Revolution.  There's plenty of love to go around, including for Super Sam Surridge, the giver of goals, and Brian Schwake in his MLS debut.  But some folks, you just know you're in love as soon as you see them, and that's the case for the boys when they say Warren Madrigal and Maxwell Woledzi this week.  The team's performance obviously reminded the boys of Handel's debut of the Messiah, and they've also got some hot takes about where the team is headed for the season and how high the ceiling could be - if there even is one.  After a quick check of teams around the MLS, the boys break out the crystal balls for predictions on the upcoming second match against Ottawa as well as a road match versus FC Dallas.  And they drink beer.   

February 16, 2026: Season Kickoff, Part 2 - To the Moon, Alice!

In this episode, the boys can barely contain their excitement for the 2026 season. Nashville SC has loaded up the roster, and the boys review all the recent moves and discuss why this is the best roster on paper that NSC has ever delivered. After giving some love to new arrival Christian Espinoza, they note how biased the Apple commentators seem to be against Nashville. Then, hot chicken takes are back, and it's raining goals! Finally, the boys break out the crystal balls to predict great things not only for the week ahead, but for the whole season. Is hardware in the team's future? And they drink beer.

February 10, 2026: Season Kickoff, Part 1 - Maple Syrup Madness

It's a very special episode of Electric Gold as the boys usher in the 2026 soccer season for Nashville SC.  Up first, the boys look ahead to the matchup with Canadian Premier League champs, Atletico Ottawa.  And to do so, they welcome special guests from the Capital City Supporters Group to share insights about the team, the players and what the hell there is to do in Hamilton, Ontario.  Special guests Bryce and Jon share some great stories about the history of Ottawa soccer, their fan culture, the recent success of their team, and especially the origin of their T-Rex mascot.  And of course, everyone bonds over their love of Letterkenny, SCTV and other Canadian comedy gems.  When that's all done, the boys break out the crystal balls to make some predictions for the first game of the CONCACAF tournament.  And they drink beer.

January 11, 2026: New Team, Who Dis?

Happy new year! The boys make an unexpected return earlier than they planned, but they couldn't contain their excitement over the NSC offseason any longer.  In this episode, the boys review the highlights from their own offseasons, and then take a quick tour of the most important moves across Major League Soccer.  Then, they share their love - or their hate - for each of the Nashville SC offseason transactions.  They wish farewell to some of the departed; Shaff - you'll always be in our hearts.  Tyler Boyd - we'll always have April 2024.  But more importantly, it's time to roll out the red carpet for some big arrivals to Music City, especially Christian Espinoza.  And the boys can't wait for the season to start!  Then, they share some resolutions for the new year that they absolutely, positively won't break.  And they drink beer.

December 1, 2025: End of Season Special, Part 2 - Offseason Madness

In this episode, the boys are a bit stuffed after Thanksgiving, but they are still plenty thankful for a terrific season.  But now it's time to look ahead to what Nashville SC will need to do this offseason so that they can compete for a championship in 2026.  First and foremost, what's the answer at goalkeeper?  Who's going to back up Dan Lovitz?  Does our midfield need to be touched?  And who's going to fill the gaping hole left by Teal Bunbury?  But seriously, the boys share their letters to Santa and their top Christmas wishes for NSC going into the holiday season.  And if that's not enough, the boys have visions of hot chicken takes dancing in their heads as they talk about what to expect in 2026 and explain why Apple TV is no good for the growth and popularity of Major League Soccer.  Finally, the boys break out their crystal balls one last time to make predictions for the team's offseason, and they conclude a very fine season with best wishes to all and to all a good night.  And they drink beer.

November 13, 2025: End of Season Special, Part 1

In this episode, the boys finally get around to wrapping up the season.  They start by reflecting on their incredible extrasensory perception in predicting the NSC performance this past season, and they celebrate an overall successful and FUN season to watch.  Did we mention this team was FUN?!?!  Anyway, they look back at the highs - like that incredible winning streak in the early summer or the US Open Cup victory - and the lows - like the late season meltdown and the recurring challenge to overcome Lionel Messi.  But screw all that, because there is hardware to hand out!  It's the first annual Electric Goldies, and the boys have plenty of awards to hand out to the Nashville SC roster.  Make sure to tune in next week when the boys will preview the offseason and 2026, which is sure to be full of hot chicken takes!  And they drink beer.

November 2, 2025: Anything is Possible!

In this episode, the boys celebrate a hard-fought Nashville victory - FINALLY - over the evil empire of Miami. It's almost too unbelievable to process, but they are riding high talking about all the incredible play across the pitch from the boys in gold.  So they dole out some aw hell yeahs... and then they hand out some MORE aw hell yeahs... and then they hand out even MORE aw hell yeahs!  That's right, you're getting triple the aw hell yeahs in this episode for the same great price.  Every player gets their spotlight, but seriously - Josh Bauer was incredible!!  And then the boys share some spicy takes about whether NSC is done winning this season and what was the most important moment of the season.  And by the way, you can learn to be a real man by leading like Hany Mukhtar.  Finally, the boys make some bold predictions about the final match coming up between Nashville and Miami.  And they drink beer.

October 26, 2025: We Are The Maltese Cannons of Revenge

In this episode, the boys scratch their heads at the recent playoff game versus Miami.  They question the strategy and lineup rolled out by Coach BJ Callaghan, but they take solace in the fact that it ain't over yet, and Nashville SC still has one more shot to keep this magical season going.  And while they weren't so impressed with Sam Surridge or Jacob Shaffelburg, who has come down with a bad case of Randall Leal Disease.  Speaking of, inspired by a listener, the boys take some time to reminisce about simpler times with former players Leal, Dax McCarty, Lukas McNaughton and Anibal Godoy, and then they start to worry that maybe Joe Willis and Walker Zimmerman might soon be joining that group.  And let's stop exchanging jerseys at the end of games and get more intense and serious about all of this, shall we?  Speaking of intense, the boys tell a tale about the Knights of St. John and the Siege of Malta in 1565, because NSC is about to pull off their own stand against the evil empire.  And they drink beer.

October 19, 2025: If You Come At the King, You Best Not Miss

The regular season is finally in the books, and the boys are here to put a bow on it by reviewing Nashville SC's final game versus Miami, whether they like it or not.  They have to begrudgingly give praise where praise is due, but they don't have to like it.  They DO like giving some praise to the team's aggressive first half play, and they've also got a shout out to give to captain Walker Zimmerman.  But, the boys have a bone to pick with the NSC administration and their interpretation of "fan appreciation".  After that, the boys take some time during this soccer podcast to talk about the greatness of basketball and botanical gardens.  But most of all, a big, gigantic THANK YOU to a delightful career from Taylor Washington.  And then the boys break down the basics of the MLS playoff structure, before gazing into their crystal balls to provide some bold predictions for Nashville's first playoff game this coming weekend in Miami.  And they drink beer.
